Associate of Ministry in Spiritual Development
60 undergraduate credit hours
Student must complete five of the ten 3-credit hour courses listed below, complete five 3-credit hour faculty-approved projects (one practicum on each of the chosen courses), plus complete ten of the twenty 3-credit hour Biblical Studies courses. This totals 60 undergraduate credit hours.
Spiritual Development Courses (3 undergraduate or 2 graduate credit hours each):
1. Reading the Bible with eager anticipation and confident hope
2. Meditating on God’s word with a clear focus and openhearted expectancy
3. Praising the Lord with overflowing joy and freedom of expression
4. Singing spiritual songs to God with a heart full of love and peace
5. Praying to God with trusting faith and holy fervency
6. Fasting before the Lord with true repentance and sincere integrity
7. Hearing from the Holy Spirit with discernment and enlightenment
8. Journaling above divine destiny with godly wisdom and understanding
9. Giving material resources with generosity and humility
10. Serving others in Christ’s name with compassion and faithfulness
Bachelor of Ministry in Spiritual Development
120 undergraduate credit hours
Student must complete all ten of the 3-credit hour courses listed above, complete ten 3-credit hour faculty-approved projects (one practicum on each of the ten courses), plus complete all twenty of the 3-credit hour Biblical Studies courses. This totals 120 undergraduate credit hours, or 60 credit hours above the AMin degree in Spiritual Development.
Master of Ministry in Spiritual Development
30 graduate credit hours
Student must complete five of the 2-credit hour courses listed above, complete five 2- credit hour faculty-approved projects (one practicum on each of the five courses), plus submit an acceptable 50-page thesis on a subject approved by the faculty (10 credit hours). This totals 30 graduate-level credit hours for the MMin degree.
Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Development
60 graduate credit hours
Student must complete five of the 2-credit hour courses listed above, complete five 2-credit hour faculty-approved projects (one practicum on each of the five courses), plus submit an acceptable 100-page dissertation on a subject approved by the faulty and successfully pass an oral examination by the faculty (10 credit hours). This totals 30 graduate-level credit hours for the DMin degree.
